My Story:

Hi! I’m Susan. I love to run and binky and play games. My foster mum says I am super smart as I manage to work out all my brain games in no time.
When she brings us food, I like to watch her fill the cup, race up my ramp and wait to see what’s for breakfast. Rabbit always wants a nose rub - I like a quick one but what I really like is to get the food cup of FM and shake, shake shake it! Gotta make sure its empty right?!

I’m also a keen chewer. I love hay, forage and most recently large tree branches. They keep us busy while we lounge in the sun. I love it when we get free roam of the garden so I can race about and hide from FM as I blend in well with the folage ;) Rabbit and I are always together. I was really worried about him when his face got sore, and he got poked and prodded and all these people looking at him and making him go to sleep. It was scary for us both, and we are both wary of people now until we are sure they won’t do that to us. I’d really hate for him to go in for anymore operations, as his pain is managed by our amazing Aunty at the vets; but most importantly we want to spend all the rest of our time together being happy and enjoying life even if it does mean less time. It’s the quality that counts! Thanks for reading about us :)

My Story:

Hi, I’m Rabbit Downey Jnr, but Rabbit is fine :) I’m currently married to the most gorgeous girl Susan; she keeps me young! As you may notice, I’ve got a super cheeky smirk. The vet called it a sneer! Terrible, they clearly don’t know me very well as I am a very happy gentlebun. Anyway, I’ve got this permanent smirk because I’ve got issues with my inner ear and have had some pretty bad infections. I’ve had my handsome face assed by the specialists and we’ve all decided I’m going to keep my smirk as I don’t fancy getting such a big operation in my golden years. Imagine recovering from that, it would be worse than a dandelion hangover after Hogmany! So, I take my meds everyday - gotta watch that Susan doesn’t try and nab it though - and I’m right as rain. I would appreciate my future family to honor this too, as I want to spend my every moment with Susan. Susan & I both love lots of space; we love to binky and chew lots. We also love foraging games; we are both very busy bunnies and need to be kept stimulated and busy. As soon as we hear foster mum in the garden we run to the run, then fly up our ramp and wait on her in our house to see what goodies she brought us. I always like to give her a wee nudge so she rubs me and Susans noses. It’s the best way to start the morning! We both love some affection, but don’t like being lifted up. We prefer some grooming and brushing compared to lifting. Do you think you could give us the perfect wee retirement home? If so, please get in touch!

Jane is a gorgeous little black bunny who is bonded with her sister Agatha. Jane and Agatha have flourished in foster, showing their playful and inquisitive personalities. Every day they are at the shed door waiting to have a run around the garden, tucking into the grass and hopping through the long grass before easily going back into their shed. They are inquisitive and clever, loving to receive their breakfast and dinner in a forage bag or similar boredom breaker. They are great bunnies to be around in the garden. Both girls are gentle and easy to handle but prefer to come to you and have an explore rather than be picked up. They are clean in their shed but love to root around amongst their toys, boxes and hay so it’s not always tidy! They also love a wee nibble so would suit an environment where they have lots of things to gnaw on and to keep them busy.

My Story:

Winston lives outdoors in a large shed and loves nothing more than to explore, play and tuck into some good food. He's learning that's it's ok to be picked up and is clean and tidy in the hutch (although newspaper shredding is his favourite game!). He loves to have toys to play with like cardboard tubes, tunnels, small chairs and stools and will redecorate his shed to the way he likes it. Winston is inquisitive and sociable, he loves to be outside his hutch or anywhere where you are, if he has the run of the garden he will find a nook to sun bathe, then he'll run around, come up for a pet and run away again. He's had previous small interactions with cats and dogs. Children of all ages have fed him by hand, while being stroked. He would do well in a home with access to garden and home to continue human contact.

We will even allow her to sit in the shed with us.The daily treat of fresh dandelion leaves or veg is certainly helping . We need a home with someone who has the patience to take time with us to help us become more confident. We are slightly larger ladies so need a very large hutch and run or even better a shed with an attached enclosure so we can binky till our hearts content. We love to get out of the shed into a run and stretch our legs.

She is eating really well, lots of hay as well as her burgess and loves kale, cucumber, and apple and really loves the occasional carrot. She is getting much braver about being held and likes to be stroked or lightly brushed. She can startle at loud noises, but hopefully have a bunny companion will give her confidence. She is very tidy in her hutch and only ever toilets in her litter tray.

Fili is a bashful boy at first but learns to trust after a short time. He enjoys his food and is currently eating burgess nuggets in the morning and mixed greens in the evenings and isn’t fussy. He likes to explore all levels of his accommodation and especially likes to lie in small spaces and his tunnel. He loves to get out into the garden and binkies around for ages. Catching him to put him back keeps us fit!! He has a good temperament and is a quick learner, if there is a forage box or boredom breaker he doesn’t take long to work it out. He has not chewed anything, including toys so having other types of mental stimulation for Fili would be important. He will make a lovely husbun for a lucky ladybun.

My Story:

Hiya...my name is Buttons. I’m the pretty girl with the dark grey highlights through my hair. My husbun (Bigwig...the ginger bun next to me) and I have been with our foster parents for a little bit now. They think I'm pretty comical, as I love to have a few big binkies in the morning and evening...and, even though I'm quite a big girl, I can move really fast when I want to! I have to say, I'm a bit more timid than Bigwig and I can be startled by sudden movements or sounds...like bin bags being opened. I used to live with children and, because they move so quickly and can sometimes be a bit noisy, I was quite scared, so I'm best suited for a quieter home without children or other pets. Bigwig helps me to be brave and, even though sometimes I might hop to a safe place, I never stay there for more than a minute or two - I'm far too curious! Even though I'm not a bunny to climb into your lap, I love to be out where my foster parents and Bigwig are. I also love to get nose rubs and cuddles, especially in the evening. I'm a very good eater. I love my hay and get very excited for nuggets and greens! I've surprised my foster parents by not being at all destructive (Bigwig isn't either...). My foster parents tell me I'm very clever, just because I'm really good at routines and I can anticipate exactly when we're going to get fresh hay and our treats of greens and bedtime snack of nuggets. Humans can be so easily impressed! While I do like living in our foster home, I'll be ever so happy when we find our forever home. Could this be you?

My Story:

Hiya...my name is Bigwig. I’m the gorgeous ginger coloured boy you see in the photos. My favouritest lady in the whole world is Buttons, the lovely bunny next to me. Buttons and I have been staying with our foster mum and dad for a bit now. They say I'm a very confident, social guy and curiosity always gets the better of me. I climb all over my foster mum and dad whenever they have food of any sort. This makes them laugh a lot. I even put my nose into my foster dad's coffee one morning, which made him say that the last thing I needed was caffeine, whatever that is. It has to be said that eating is pretty much my favourite activity. Although I'm not a bunny that's going to sit in your lap, my foster parents have told me that what they like the most about me is how affectionate I am, because I give them loads of kisses. Any time - day or night. Even when someone new stops by, I give them kisses nearly right away. Kisses always make humans giggle and smile...and I like that. Now...something both my foster mum and dad give *me* loads of kisses for is that I'm not at all destructive (neither is Buttons, by the way...). I like to chew my hay, toys and cardboard, but I'm really not interested in chewing anything of theirs. They've now gotten really lazy and have left stuff lying about...and when they see I haven't chewed it, I get lots of kisses and nose rubs, which I love! I've started really liking it here, but even though this is all pretty nice, I can't wait until Buttons and I can move into our forever home...could this be with you??

You can buy his affection with food - Birch's favourite foods are kale and broccoli, and he is good at eating plenty of hay. We're fairly certain that Birch is deaf as he doesn't respond to any noise, and he also seems to be partially-sighted but he can always find food when needed! One of Birch's ears has a tear in it from a previous bunny interaction, but he's still super handsome. He will need fairly regular grooming for his luscious hair, which he's not that keen on but is getting better with it over time.

Hi my name is Plateau and I'm a sweet girl who needs a special home as I am completely blind in both eyes. I take my time getting used to new surroundings because of this but I like my foster home and am settling in well here. I'm really timid so I need someone who has the time and patience to let me get to know you at my own pace, and although I'm happy to chill out in my run myself, after 6 years alone I'd love nothing more than some bunny company to be my 'eyes' and help me feel safe! I am starting to come out my shell and will take nuggets and herbs from my foster carer's hand, some of my favourites are coriander and dandelions but I love anything with a strong smell as I rely on my nose instead of my eyes. I enjoy a wee head stroke while I'm eating too. I'm quite a tidy girl and I'm litter trained, my foster carer says my run is no bother to keep clean. My favourite toys are my tunnel and my cardboard hide which I like to tear shreds from! After my health check I'll be all ready to go to my forever home.

Lovely big and fluffy bunny, although a bit shy, but very inquisitive so will eat from your hand. He doesn't like to get handled too much, so grooming and cleaning are at the back of his list, instead he prefers you to give him a garden where he can go zooming about, which is very entertaining to watch, then once he's flopped he will give himself a wee clean and maybe let the human groom him. Although if he's not ready, he will let you know in leg thumps and flicks, but no bites. He makes a very cute pair with Tijuana.

My Story:

Oswin is a typical example of a Netherland Dwarf bunny: she is small and cute, and easy to handle but she much prefers things to be on her terms! She can display a fair amount of attitude if things aren't going her way. In her short years, she has already experienced a number of homes and bonds. In all cases, she has settled well into an initial bond but after a period of time appears to fall out with her bonded buddy and goes to great effort to spend time on her own. Within the rescue we have recently experimented with taking her out of a bonded environment to monitor her behaviour when she is kept as a single bunny. She appears to be more relaxed on her own, and seeks some basic human interaction. We are now trialling her within one of our indoor foster homes to assess how comfortable she is as a single bunny in the family home. We anticipate that given the stress of her previous broken bonds, Oswin may be a rare example of a bunny who prefers human company to bunny company. We are therefore looking for a home where Oswin will be showered with attention to ensure she is stimulated and entertained. She will be available for adoption once our trial period has completed.

Thomas and his buddy Gordon are a lovely pair who have only been with their foster carer for a week.Thomas is still getting used to his new surroundings and as a result is a little shy. Both are almost litter trained but as with all teenagers they leave their room in a bit of a mess from time to time. Feeding time is their favourite time of day and are always happy to tuck into some tasty veg, nuggets and hay. The hay rack is a great source of amusement and can often be found tipped up on it side or completely upside down.

Mike certainly is a happy bunny. He's been enjoying investigating his new foster home binkying around. Mike needed a wee hand to learn he could get out his cage due to his small size but now he loves jumping in and out.He loves coming up to get some kale and is happy sitting on my lap and the odd pat. He is pretty good at keeping his cage clean but he does occasionally miss the litter box. He is still new to our home so I'm sure I'll learn more of his personality as time passes. He is a pleasure to foster.

Jack lives with his lady friend Jill and as you can see he is just a little fluffy bundle of cuteness! He hasn’t been in his foster home long so he’s still getting used to life here, he will often run and hide when he hears the shed door opening but he soon pops his head out to see what’s going on. He is a very gentle bunny who is partial to a head rub although he can be easily startled if you approach him too quickly - it must be hard for him to get a good all round view with all that fluff in the way! Jack and Jill are a very clean and tidy pair - both are litter trained and haven’t shown any destructive behaviour at all so far.

She hasn’t been in her foster home very long but she has already established her favourite spot, on the shelf by the window. You’ll find her there most of the day, just relaxing! Like her buddy Jack, Jill is a very gentle bunny who enjoys a head rub but can be easily startled so needs to be approached slowly. Both bunnies are easy to handle and will sit in your arms quite happily.

My Story:

Mulder is a medium sized rabbit with beautiful, thick and fluffy fawn coloured fur. Although he is quite timid around new people, he is definitely cheeky and lets his humans know he's the boss! He loves to explore and is a nosy wee fella! Mulder has a prolapse - his vet said that this should be left as it is as it doesn’t affect him at all but just to keep an eye on it and make sure his hutch is kept clean and dry just to make sure no problems occur. Mulder would be best suited to a quiet household with adults or older children and where he would have lots of space to play and investigate. He really needs a bunny friend as he's very lonely and would love somebun to snuggle with.

My Story:

Hello! My name is John Bishop. I am a white and grey lop-eared rabbit with a rather trendy hairdo. I like to think I’m rather adorable. I’m quite a character and am a very active bunny. I love nothing more than being able to explore my environment, especially if there are things for me to jump on! I’m not scared of much and am pretty confident in my surroundings. I’ve recently had a few trips to the vets after having my manlihood removed and have been very well behaved when being handled. I love people and like to have head rubs – although I don’t like to sit still for too long! My foster carer has a one year old daughter who likes to chase me around the place – I don’t mind this too much! I even let her stroke/poke me sometimes. They also have a rather excitable puppy – I don’t mind him too much either, as long as he doesn’t get too close! My foster carer tends to keep us separate, but I think if the puppy wasn’t quite so excitable, I would happily roam around with it. I’d give it a run for its money I reckon! I am a very loving rabbit who is full of character. I am looking for a forever home where I am allowed to roam as much as possible. I am very well house trained, only ever toileting in my litter tray, and I don’t nibble things that I shouldn’t. I now live with Maisy who is adorable to, we get on really well although she is quieter than me. I love nothing better than being a window ornament i will lie for hours at the window watching the world go by.

Hi there, I'm Maisy a gentle giant. I'm not really that big but i'm soooo soft and fluffy. I live with my husbun John Bishop and we are so we suited. I'm the quieter of the 2 of us but still like to venture around the house and investigate things. Nothing bothers me like the hoover, dogs barking etc and i'm fine with kids and cats as well. Love my food to, so far my foster family hasn't found anything i don't like to eat, however i am not a nibbler so your wallpaper and furniture is safe with me.

Yoko is bonded with her brother Lennon. Both bunnies are very inquisitive and are there to greet me at the door when I visit. A secure run would be essential for these two as they are very clever and can find their way out of a makeshift run with ease. Yoko is a little more nervous than her brother and will wait till Lennon has investigated anything new before trying it herself. Yoko will allow you to pet her as long as you have food to offer and will sit on your knee for a short period of time although she definitely prefers to have four feet on the floor (or whatever surface she has decided to jump onto!). They are eating burgess pellets and plenty of hay, and prefer to drink out of a water bowl rather than a bottle. Yoko will be vaccinated, microchipped and speyed prior to adoption.
